10-Acre MXU Development in Elk Grove Village Marks Milestone

Nicholas & Associates and Wingspan Development Group recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting for the initial commercial phase of The VUE, a 10-acre mixed-use development in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Located at Arlington Heights Road and Higgins Road, The VUE will be a modern, pedestrian-friendly mixed-use hub offering upscale living, dining and shopping. Highlights of the development include a 271-unit apartment community, 16 rental townhomes, a multistory clubhouse with resort-style pool and other amenities for VUE residents, and 52,000 square feet of retail space.

The retail spaces are occupied by four local retailers that have relocated within the commercial strip. including Tensuke Market and Food Court, 7 Mile Cycles, Jarosch Bakery and Vini’s Pizza. “The VUE brings new opportunities for local businesses and marks a significant step forward for this part of town,” said Jason Macklin, vice president of Wingspan Development Group.
