High Street Residential Breaks Ground on Beaverton Mixed-Use Development
High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, along with joint venture partners SCOA Real Estate Partners and Lease Crutcher Lewis, has broken ground on a 369-unit mixed-use, transit-oriented apartment community in Beaverton, Oregon.
The project marks one of the largest multifamily groundbreakings in the region in recent years. The apartments are expected to begin delivering in 2027. Located on a 5.82-acre site between Southwest Wilshire Street and Park Way, the project will replace a portion of the Cedar Hills Shopping Center. The community will feature 369 apartments across three, four and five-story buildings, along with 5,040 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Designed by LRS Architects, the project will offer studio to three-bedroom residences. “We don’t think there’s ever been a better time—or a more compelling reason—to build apartments in the Portland metro,” said Damin Tarlow, Principal with TCC. “Supply is at historic lows relative to demand, and new construction has been muted for several years, while the metro’s diverse economy and world-class livability continue unabated.”
