Gasworks Brewing Company to Open Second Seattle Location

Gasworks Brewing, a Lake Union brewpub, is opening a nearly 15,000-square-foot production brewery and taproom in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood this spring. The expansion will include a 20-barrel brewhouse and larger tanks, enabling the brewery to scale up production.

Gasworks will fill the roughly 15,000-square-foot warehouse space formerly used by Seattle Cider Company. Gasworks will keep its original Lake Union brewpub at 2441 N Northlake Way open while using the SoDo site for higher volume production.

The company aims to start brewing at the site located at 4660 Ohio Ave S. in May. The buildout is not expected to take long, and the permits have already been submitted. ” We want to brew more beer, welcome more people and grow with the demand of our customers, said owner Cody Cluff. “We have been searching for the right facility, and we are excited to add 15,000 square feet of production and taproom.”
