- LaSalle Investment Management, the global real estate investment manager, appointed Peter Sibilia as head of U.S. transactions, based in New York. The U.S. transactions team was previously led by Pat Pelling, who now serves as portfolio manager of LaSalle Property Fund.
- Blackstone’s Perform Properties, a diversified real estate operating platform specializing in grocery-anchored retail centers and premier office assets, has appointed Brad Bazley as SVP and cto. Bazley brings more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise technology, integration, and operational transformation for multinational organizations. He comes to Perform from Internet Brands, where he served as VP and CIO, Enterprise and Legal Technology.
- VTS announced that Adam Champy has been appointed as the company’s new chief product officer. Champy comes to VTS with 20 years of experience in the technology space, with an extensive background as an AI product leader, previously having held senior roles at Google, Two Sigma and Point72. The announcement comes as VTS has experienced rapid growth with the launch and rapid adoption of new product offerings such as VTS AI.
- RiseBoro Community Partnership, a New York City-based affordable housing developer and social services provider, appointed Melanie E. La Rocca as COO. La Rocca, a veteran of city government and the real estate development sector, will oversee RiseBoro’s day-to-day operations and help drive the organization’s continued growth and mission delivery across New York City.
- Kroll, an independent provider of global financial and risk advisory solutions, has launched the Kroll Real Estate Valuation Solution (REVS). This newly integrated AI-enabled platform empowers commercial real estate investors, sponsors and owners in the U.S. to rapidly manage the valuation process of their real estate portfolios from end-to-end, the company said. The new Kroll REVS platform combines the firm’s portfolio insights, benchmarking tools, workflow automation and appraisal management with metrics derived from Kroll’s comprehensive universe of market indicators.
- Newport Associates Development Company, a partnership of the LeFrak and Simon families, announced a $1-million philanthropic initiative to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Newport, a mixed-use neighborhood developed along Jersey City’s waterfront. The initiative will award grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 to 40 local Jersey City nonprofits.
