Costco Planned for N. Phoenix’s Halo Vista

Costco has committed to building in Halo Vista, the 2,300-acre site near the Taiwan Semiconductor site in North Phoenix. Developers of the $7 billion project, Mack Real Estate Group and McCourt Partners, are developing it, and Costco is the first to commit. Groundbreaking is set for March.

Two new Marriott hotels will also be first users, alongside Costco, which will be located off Interstate 17 and Dove Valley Road. Grading work will begin next month on the first 200 acres of the overall 2,300-acre Halo Vista site.

Halo Vista will be built out over several decades and could bring around 30 million square feet of new mixed-use space to the area, including retail, office, hospitality, research, industrial and health care users, along with up to 9,000 residential units.

The project’s developers are planning to invest $1 billion to build out infrastructure.
