- Joseph Caridi has joined JLL as executive managing director for the Tri-State region. He will oversee markets including New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut/Westchester. In addition, JLL has hired Craig Both as SVP, Power Origination for JLL’s Energy Advisory team, based in New York. In this role, he will help expand JLL’s power origination and commercial energy advisory capabilities.
- The Real Estate Board of New York announced that COO Sandhya Espitia has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Chao-Hon Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance at the NYU Stern School of Business. The Chen Institute is recognized globally for advancing real estate research, education, and industry impact.
- Brian Donnelly has joined King & Spalding’s Real Estate and Funds practice group as a partner. He is based in New York. Donnelly joins King & Spalding from McDermott Will & Schulte, where he was a partner.
- Rockefeller Group has promoted R. Stokes Moore to CIO, EVP and CFO. Based in New York, he was previously EVP and CFO. The company has also promoted Marisa Gadlin to chief administrative officer, EVP and head of core holdings. Gadlin is based in New York, where she was previously SVP and head of core holdings.
- Gottesman Real Estate Partners, a family-owned and operated real estate company, has hired Steven Osborne as VP. Osborne will assist in overseeing Gottesman’s four-state portfolio of 14 commercial and residential properties, spread across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and North Carolina.
- Kimco Realty announced that David Jamieson has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Jamieson is EVP and COO of the company. With this appointment, Kimco’s board has expanded to include ten members.
- Jacob Czarnick, a senior investment banker with expertise across a wide range of sectors, has joined A&G Real Estate Partners as principal. Czarnick has spent over 23 years as an investment banker focused on restructuring, out-of-court liability management, special situations, financing and M&A transactions.
- Unison Energy, an Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) provider of onsite power generation for critical infrastructure facilities, appointed Mariko McDonagh Meier as CEO. Meier brings a track record of growth and success – along with two decades of experience in the energy and utility space and specializes in scaling EaaS businesses. In addition, Unison co-founders Andy Cooper and Tim Lukes are transitioning to new roles within the company as executive chairman and president, respectively.
- Getty Realty Corp., a net lease REIT focused on convenience and automotive retail real estate, announced that Mark J. Olear, EVP, CIO and COO, will retire from the company effective Feb. 27. Robert J. (RJ) Ryan, SVP of acquisitions, has been selected to succeed Olear as CIO. The position of COO will not be backfilled.
- The Urban Land Institute New York has recognized 15 projects as finalists for its tenth annual Awards for Excellence in Development. Seven winners in as many categories will be announced and honored at ULI New York’s Awards Gala on April 29, 2026, at Ziegfeld Ballroom. The Awards recognize exceptional development projects in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors across New York State that best exemplify ULI’s commitment to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
