Avison Young Markets Former Nissan Design Campus for Lease

Avison Young said Wednesday it is marketing for lease a 6.55-acre, 96,500-square-foot flex/creative office/R&D campus formerly occupied by Nissan Design America. Located at 9800 Campus Point Dr. in San Diego’s UTC Innovation Hub, the property is available immediately and is suitable for a single-tenant headquarters, design studio, R&D facility, or innovation lab, according to Avison Young.

The assignment is led by the Avison Young Global Occupier Services team of Cindy Brohoski and Caroline Brennan, and locally by Avison Young principal and managing director Damian McKinney, principal Jamie Endres Keller and associate Tanner Johnson.

“This property represents a rare opportunity to secure a creative and R&D-focused campus in one of San Diego’s most dynamic innovation corridors,” said McKinney. “Its scale, amenities, and location make it exceptionally well-positioned to attract top-tier tenants seeking both functionality and quality of life.”

Originally built in 1982, the building underwent a significant renovation in 2005.
