Uncommon Scores Full Entitlement for First Phase of 550-Acre Master Plan

Los Angeles-based Uncommon Developers said Friday that its Apple Valley AV One Million Distribution Center in Apple Valley was fully entitled and pre-leased. Completion of the entitlement process means groundbreaking and vertical construction on the 1.1-million-square-foot property can move forward rapidly.

Leasing is being handled by DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services EVPs Rick John and Dan Foye. The distribution center will be the first phase in a 550-acre master-planned project from Uncommon.

“The High Desert North Inland Empire region is attracting industrial development due to the business-friendly environment and growing skilled labor pool it offers, while still being within 100 miles, or under a two-hour drive, to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach,” said Foye.

John added, “The facility is an exciting part of the growth and economic development of the High Desert, and what is planned to ultimately be a 550-acre project leveraging the location, scalability, and access to power rare for the market.”
