- Seaport Entertainment Group Inc. has appointed Matt Partridge as president and CEO. Partridge will succeed Anton Nikodemus, who will remain with the company as a special advisor until November 3, 2025. Additionally, the company’s chief accounting officer, Lenah Elaiwat, was named interim CFO and treasurer, and Michael Crawford, currently lead independent director, will become chairman.
- Newmark promoted Marc R. Shapiro to practice leader of its Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Financial Reporting practice. He will also focus on expanding Newmark’s Alternative Valuation Services, which include Appraisal Review, Cost Segregation, Evaluations, Business Valuation Services and Insurable Value estimates.
- Angela D’Aguanno is joining WeWork as chief administrative officer, reporting directly to WeWork CEO John Santora. She most recently served as SVP, Americas Advisory Operations at Cushman & Wakefield, concluding a 21-year tenure with the company during which she held various roles in finance and operations.
- Cityview, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in multifamily, hired Maggie Deichmann as managing director of East Coast acquisitions. Based in Cityview’s recently opened New York City office, Deichmann will pursue strategic acquisition opportunities across the Eastern U.S.
- CBRE has hired future-of-work expert Annie Dean to lead a newly formed CBRE x Industrious Building Experience Lab. The lab will aim to transform offices, logistics centers, storefronts, and other commercial settings. Dean will also serve as global chief strategy officer for CBRE’s Building Operations & Experience business segment.
- The Urban Land Institute New York announced its 10th Annual Awards for Excellence in Development Gala, taking place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in New York. Applications are now open for the awards program, which recognizes innovation, design and community impact in real estate development. Submissions close on Oct. 24, 2025, with finalists announced in January 2026 and winners honored at the Gala.
