Midtown Capital Eyeing 249-Unit Ft. Lauderdale Venture

Midtown Capital Partners hopes to get Fort Lauderdale’s approval to build an apartment complex on 1.3 acres at 4 N.W. 7th St. The development will be along the FEC Railway in the Progresso neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. The S. Florida Business Journal reports the company acquired the property for $9.42 million in 2022.

The 12-story building would total 309,314 square feet, with 249 apartments, 1,665 square feet of commercial space and 308 parking spaces. The fourth floor would feature an amenity deck featuring a pool, pickleball court, yoga lawn, barbecue area and gym. There would also be coworking space in the lobby.

Apartments in Astor Progresso Village would range from 407 to 1,267 square feet. There would be 180 studio apartments, 30 one-bedroom units, and 39 two-bedroom units.

Midtown manages a portfolio of assets with more than 3 million square feet of leasable space including industrial, multifamily, retail and office.
