KLNB Adds Industry Veteran to Multifamily Team

KLNB announced that Justin Shay has joined the firm’s multifamily capital markets team as senior vice president. Shay comes to KLNB from Transwestern and brings two decades of experience in multifamily investment sales throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

In his new role, he will focus on expanding KLNB’s multifamily investment sales presence across the Washington, D.C. metro area and beyond, leveraging his extensive network and track record in the sector.
His arrival further broadens KLNB’s reach across the Mid-Atlantic, adding significant expertise in the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia markets to complement the firm’s strong Maryland presence.

Over the course of his career of more than 20 years, Shay has been involved in the sale of more than 55,000 apartment units, totaling over $6.5 billion in transaction volume. He served as a Senior Vice President with Transwestern, where he represented a wide range of institutional and private owners, including REITs, pension funds, family offices, and legacy investors, in the disposition of multifamily assets.
