King Street Completes Public Amenities at Burlingame Life Science Project
King Street Properties has completed key public amenities at its new life-science property, The Landing, in Burlingame. With the debut of a full-service bistro café serving breakfast and lunch, an outdoor half-acre plaza with gathering spaces and landscaping, and three large-scale site-specific artworks, King Street is providing design elements intended to benefit local residents and building tenants alike.
“These great public spaces and amenities are part of the innovative workplace we’re creating at The Landing, to give life sciences companies an opportunity to plant roots in Burlingame,” said Sonia Taneja, managing director overseeing The Landing for King Street. “And by embracing and welcoming the community into the project, we are helping fulfill the city’s vision for the Bayfront neighborhood as a home for science and the community.”
Leasing for The Landing is handled by the JLL team of Grant Yeatman, Cole Smith, Mark Bodie, and Toss Vallentine. Perkins & Will is the architect for The Landing. Landscape architect is SWA Group. General contractor is Hathaway Dinwiddie.
