Hines Denver Office Renovations Result in More Tenants

1125 17th St. has attracted new tenants this year following a $25 million renovation paid for by Hines, the building owner. Seven leases have been inked this year, six new and one renewal. The Denver Business Journal reports, all in all, a total of 66,000 square feet of new leases have been signed this year at the downtown office tower, pushing its overall occupancy to over 84%.

Upgrades included a reconstructed lobby, a new tenant lounge, executive board room, conference facilities, and a wellness center featuring locker rooms and fully equipped mother’s rooms. The building already had space for bocce and basketball courts. Hines added a pickleball court.

Pearlmark Real Estate sold the 25-story, 494,689-square-foot skyscraper to Hines for $169.7 million in 2017. Pearlmark bought the building in 2006 for $120 million.
