GroundFloor to helm Seguins downtown redevelopment

GroundFloor to Lead Seguin’s Downtown Redevelopment Effort

Following a vote by the Seguin City Council, GroundFloor will take the lead on a mixed-use development that could feature a boutique hotel as well as event, meeting, retail and restaurant spaces. The redevelopment could serve a broader downtown area and would preserve the Nolte Building, which dates back to the late 1800s. The historic city is roughly 36 miles east of San Antonio.

This type of project is nothing new for GroundFloor, which has worked on multiple mixed-use projects, including one with the City of Garland.

“This is a visionary step forward for Seguin,” declared Mayor Donna Dodgen, “We are taking control of our downtown’s future and setting the stage for a transformation that will benefit generations to come. Our goal is to enrich our community with exceptional retail and dining options, and this is just the beginning. Let’s make our downtown a vibrant and thriving hub that will captivate both residents and visitors alike!”
