Dermatology Tenant Signs with Kilroy for Headquarters Space
JLL represented newly formed DermTech, LLC, specializing in precision dermatology that offers non-invasive skin genomics solutions, in a new 28,869-square-foot lease at 12340 El Camino Real in San Diego. DermTech will use the space for its headquarters and laboratory.
“DermTech, LLC will use its optimized facilities to continue to offer superior customer support and serve dermatologists and their patients nationwide with its non-invasive melanoma rule-out test, the DermTech Melanoma Test,” said Burkhard Jansen, MD, president of DermTech, LLC, which was formed as the result of an asset sale last August. “We are particularly pleased with our state-of-the-art molecular laboratory located at Kilroy’s Del Mar Corporate Center in the Del Mar Heights neighborhood of San Diego.”
JLL’s Grant Schoneman, Chad Urie, Taylor DeBerry and Stephanie MacLeod represented DermTech in the lease. Landlord Kilroy Realty was represented by Brett Ward, Michael Cassolato and Evan Cassolato of Cushman & Wakefield.
