Kaizen starts work on Chalk Hill in Dallas

Kaizen Starts Work on Uptown Dallas Mixed-Use Project

Kaizen has closed on a 2.3-acre parcel at Wolf and N. Harwood Streets in Uptown Dallas, the site of the former North Texas Public Broadcasting company studios, and a 300-foot-tall transmission tower. The company will start razing the current structures to make way for a sizable mixed-use venture. The project, known as Chalk Hill, will include over 400,000 square feet of class AA office space, a 217-key lifestyle luxury hotel in partnership with HN Capital Partners, 61 luxury-branded residential condominium units, and multiple food and beverage options.

The office building will offer amenities such as a full-service fitness center with spa-like locker rooms, saunas and a cold plunge, nearly an acre of occupiable green roof space, conference areas, multiple hospitality-inspired lounge spaces, and a multipurpose executive board/dining room.

Kaizen has tapped BOKA Powell to design Chalk Hill and Balfour Beatty as the general contractor.  JLL’s Blake Shipley and T.D. Briggs is leasing the office component of Chalk Hill.
