Indoor Cricket Facility Debuts in Minnesota

Cushman & Wakefield has represented the new Cricket Sports brand, CrossBat, in its 18,000-square-foot lease at 3150 West County Road 42 in Burnsville, Minnesota. This location marks the launch of CrossBat’s flagship cricket facility, with plans to expand nationally in the future.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jake Kelly represented CrossBat in the leasing transaction, while KW Commercial’s Andrew Manthai represented the property owner, Metro Center LLC. “With CrossBat, our goal is to deliver an extraordinary, year-round cricketing experience,” said Vamsi Venigalla, co-founder of CrossBat. “We’re building not just a facility but an immersive cricket ecosystem — from recreational play to elite performance — and we believe this is just the beginning of a larger movement in the U.S.”

CrossBat has signed a long-term lease and transformed the space into a state-of-the-art indoor cricket venue. “We have a unique opportunity to help shape the sport’s infrastructure, and the time is right to introduce the CrossBat concept with plans for broader expansion,” added Virendra Yadav, CrossBat cofounder.
