SIOR Names James Dinegar as New CEO

SIOR said Wednesday it has officially named James Dinegar as its new CEO, ushering in what it calls a new chapter of innovation, growth and value for its members and the commercial real estate industry at large. The association said Dinegar’s extensive background in both organizational leadership and commercial real estate advocacy uniquely positions him to further elevate SIOR’s mission of advancing excellence and professionalism across the global CRE landscape.

Dinegar brings more than 30 years of experience guiding high-impact organizations across the Washington, DC region. His track record includes serving as COO of the American Institute of Architects, president & CEO of the Greater Washington Board of Trade and leading government and industry affairs at BOMA International.

“It is an incredible honor to step into this role and serve the SIOR community—an organization built on excellence, integrity, and innovation in commercial real estate,” said Dinegar. “I am thrilled to join at such a pivotal time and look forward to building on SIOR’s achievements and continuing to deliver value to our members, their clients, and the industry.”
