Five Tech Firms Join Harlem Biospace @ Mink Incubator
Five pioneering tech companies – Stemology, RoverDx, CarbonBridge, Anew Material and BioSapien – have become members in the newly-opened Harlem Biospace @ Mink, a graduation incubator with shared facilities and private labs and offices in the Factory District of Innovation Triangle-West Harlem. They’re joining a growing community connecting the Factory District’s urban campus with the campuses of Columbia University and City College of New York.
“The immediate success of Harlem Biospace @ Mink shows the growing recognition of Innovation Triangle-West Harlem increasingly becoming the pre-eminent innovation district in New York,” said Dr. Sam Sia, co-founder of Harlem Biospace and professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. “These companies not only understand and appreciate the state-of-art facilities and their affordability, but also proactively want to be in a community that includes not only two great research universities in Columbia and CUNY, but also Chan-Zuckerberg Biohub, CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, New York Structural Biology Center, and the amazing science happening at companies such as Volastra Therapeutics, Quicksilver Biosciences and Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals with its GMP facility.”
The Factory District is being developed by the Janus Property Company.
