Music Venue slated for River Park Austin

Music Venue Planned for River Park

AEG Presents plans to open a 65,000-square-foot, 4,000-person-capacity music venue in Southeast Austin’s River Park mixed-use development, possibly by the first quarter of 2027.

The Austin Business Journal reports plans for the indoor music and entertainment facility in River Park were revealed last year. Presidium Group and Partners Group are developing River Park, which will feature multifamily units, offices, retail, parkland and the entertainment venue. Once complete, River Park will be 10 million square feet.

Precise details of the planned venue in Austin haven’t been released, but construction will begin later this year.

River Park’s first phase of development will include about 1.2 million square feet, broken into four parcels. One will have 426 multifamily units; another will have 214 units plus about 10,000 square feet of retail space; a third will have 312 multifamily units with about 10,000 square feet for retail; and a fourth will be home to the entertainment venue with about 7,000 square feet of retail space.
