Sprouts-Anchored Retail Center Slated for Kyle

GBT Realty Corporation says construction is underway at Shops at The Brick and Mortar District, a 42,000-square-foot neighborhood center located approximately 20 minutes south of Austin in Kyle, Texas. Scheduled for completion in late summer 2025, the retail development anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market is nearly 90% pre-leased.

Situated less than 1.5 miles from Interstate 35 at the heart of Plum Creek, the four-building Shops at The Brick and Mortar District features a 23,250-square-foot Sprouts and an additional 18,500 square feet of retail, restaurants and service amenities. Approximately 4,700 square feet of shop space is still available. The shopping center also includes a plaza with an event lawn.

Arch-Con Corp. is the general contractor. GBT, which acquired the five-acre site for $3.2 million in late 2023, secured a $12.6 million construction loan from Hancock Whitney Bank.
