$50M Cape Canaveral Project Moving Ahead
OG Enterprises has unveiled plans for later phases of a multi-use development at 8801 Astronaut Boulevard/A1A in Cape Canaveral. The total cost of the four-phase project is estimated at $50 million.
The Orlando Business Journal reports the second phase, currently in the designing and permitting stages, would add an additional 18,000 square feet of commercial space, including 8,000 square feet for its branded Destination Downtown Food Hall, which will feature independent vendors.
The final two phases of the Wave District project will include the addition of a pool and total of 104 housing units that could be used as vacation rentals or for long-term residents.
The company’s first food hall, located at 2 N. Atlantic Ave. in Cocoa Beach, is scheduled to open this summer. OG Enterprises also plans to develop a mixed-use development at 1399 N. Atlantic Ave. in Cocoa Beach, which will include commercial space, apartments and townhouses.
