Activate Games Inks Lease for Flagship Union Square Location

Newmark Retail arranged a 14,814-square-foot retail lease with Activate Games at 24 Union Square East in Manhattan. Vice chairman Jeffrey D. Roseman and director Drew Weiss serve as the exclusive leasing agents at the property and facilitated the leasing on behalf of ownership, the S. Klein Family, LLC.

“Union Square East has seen a huge resurgence over the past few years, with many new restaurants, quick-service food tenants and national retailers opening, including brand new flagship stores from Target and Petco,” said Roseman. “Activate will be a welcome addition to this stretch of Union Square for many years to come.”

Activate, a team-based interactive gaming concept, signed a long-term lease for the flagship location, which is located between 15th and 16th streets. Tristate Real Estate Company’s Chandler Slate and Sherry Chera represented Activate in lease negotiations. Resolution Real Estate Parnters worked as a consultant for ownership.
