HTG eyes Hollywood affordable housing project

HTG Eyeing Hollywood Affordable Rental Units

If a local planning agency gives it approval, Housing Trust Group (HTG) will move forward on an affordable senior housing development in Hollywood.

The S. Florida Business Journal reports the Technical Advisory Committee will consider plans for Paramount Place on the 35,030-square-foot site at 826 S. Dixie Highway and 2115 Washington Street on Feb. It currently has an 11,486-square-foot automotive building. HTG has proposed an affordable senior housing development in Hollywood. HTG acquired the property for $3.6 million in August 2024.

It would redevelop the property with an eight-story building of 162,541 square feet, featuring 96 units of affordable senior housing and 131 parking spaces. The fourth floor would have a pool deck, and floors two through four would have indoor amenity spaces.

The apartments would range from 699 to 1,066 square feet. There would be 84 one-bedroom units and 12 two-bedroom units.

Realization Architects designed the project.
