Becovic Partners with POAH on North Side Affordable Housing
Becovic Management Group will partner with Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. (POAH) to support the $27 million renovation of the Heart of Northside Apartments.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to sustaining and enriching the communities we serve,” said Jenny Drabant, Director of Leasing at Becovic Management Group. “By working with POAH, we can ensure Northside residents continue to have access to high-quality, affordable housing in a thriving neighborhood.”
The Heart of Northside Apartments—103 units across five properties at 927 W. Wilson, 900 W. Windsor, 847 W. Sunnyside, 4437 N. Clifton, and 4130 N. Kenmore—will undergo extensive renovations beginning January 2025.
Partnership Highlights
Becovic has designated 34 units in Uptown, Edgewater, and Rogers Park to temporarily house POAH residents during the renovations. Construction will begin at 927 W. Wilson in January 2025, with the entire project slated for completion by the end of the year.
