Starbucks to Open Two Coffee Shop Locations in Seattle

Starbucks is planning to open two new coffee shops in Seattle in 2025. The new locations will be located in Ballard and Rainier Valley, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.

In Ballard, Starbucks will occupy a former Jack In The Box space at 999 Leary Way NW. The store, which is scheduled to open in May, will have the company’s new Siren System, a group of back-of-house technologies designed to increase store efficiency.

In the Rainier Valley, Starbucks is taking over a closed restaurant space at 9150 Rainier Ave. S. An opening for the 1,700-square-foot location is planned for the fall. “We are proud to be part of the Rainier Valley community and look forward to welcoming customers into our store when we open,” a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement.
