Car condos coming to Plano

Car Condos Coming to Plano

Maranello is planning a 200,000 square foot development on more than 11 acres of land west of Plano at the northeast corner of Ohio Drive and Mapleshade Lane off the George Bush Turnpike designed for sports car owners with indoor-facing “garage condos.”

The company says the development will have 79 “condos” ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 square feet and that each condo will have a steel mezzanine with full utilities, app-controlled HVAC and glass garage doors that open to the interior of the facility.

It will also have a 13,000-square-foot, two-story lounge and 60,000-square-foot, open-air green space in the middle of the building for events. The venue will be open year-round to its members and host car shows and other events.

Construction is expected to start in the coming months and the facility is expected to be operational by spring of 2026.
