DC Chamber of Commerce Appoints Chinyere Hubbard as CEO

The District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce has announced that Chinyere Hubbard will serve as the organization’s next president and CEO.

Hubbard succeeds Angela Franco, who announced last year she would leave the chamber when her contract was up, reported the Washington Business Journal. Hubbard most recently served as chief marketing and strategic communications officer at the Greater Washington Partnership, an alliance of CEOs and C-suite executives across Maryland, Virginia and the District.

Her career experience includes strategic leadership, public relations, advocacy, fundraising and board engagement across private, governmental and social sectors. Hubbard’s appointment to the role followed an executive search led by Impact Search Advisors by Nonprofit HR in partnership with the chamber.
