Ethos Development Awarded $8M to Build Hillsboro Housing
Ethos Development, in partnership with Transcending Hope and Monta Knudson Consulting, received unanimous approval from the Washington County Board of Commissioners for an $8.15 million grant. This funding will facilitate the development and operation of 39 stabilization housing units aimed at supporting high-acuity individuals in need.
In July, Washington County Health and Housing Services released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for capital development in housing. Recognizing the critical need within the community, Transcending Hope collaborated with Ethos Development and Monta Knudson Consulting to formulate a comprehensive response to this request.
Ethos Development brings extensive expertise in housing projects of various types, including trauma informed sober living and stabilization housing; ensuring the units are designed to be cost effective and to meet the specific needs of the residents. The three-story wood-framed development is set to take shape over the next 18-24 months.
