Inland Promotes Joseph Binder to Chief Investment Officer

The Inland Real Estate Group has announced today the promotion of Joseph Binder to Chief Investment Officer.

In this role, Binder is responsible for managing and executing Inland’s investment strategies, capital markets activities, and related strategic transactions. He will report to Tony Chereso, Inland’s Chief Executive Officer and President.

“Promoting Joe to this newly created position at the Group level as Chief Investment Officer underscores Inland’s commitment to continued growth and success across the enterprise,” said Mr. Chereso. “Joe’s extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market, impressive track record, and deep industry relationships make him a natural fit for this role.”

Binder currently serves as, and will remain in, the roles of Executive Vice President of Inland Private Capital Corporation and Chief Capital Officer of IPC Alternative Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. Binder manages an experienced, 10-person team that will collectively be elevated to the Group level in order to serve the entire enterprise. In addition, Gail Gress, SVP of Real Estate Finance for Inland, will join this team and report to Mr. Binder.
