Housing Trust raises nearly $40M for Daytona Beach affordable apartments

Housing Trust Group Obtains Construction Loan for Daytona Beach Affordable Apartments

Housing Trust Group closed on financing and commenced construction of Fox Pointe, a $25.7 million affordable housing community in Daytona Beach. The company raised nearly $40 million from sources that included $18.3 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, $13.5 million in construction financing and $7 million from various other agencies.

Apartments at Fox Pointe will be reserved for residents who earn at or below 22, 30, 60, and 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). Monthly rents on the 70 units will range from $319 to $1,610. The property is expected to be completed by Q4 2025, with leasing to begin in the fall of that same year.

Located at 1088 10th Street in the City of Holly Hill, Fox Pointe will encompass more than 80,200 square feet of space featuring a swimming pool, clubhouse with lounge area, business center, picnic pavilion, dog park, playground, fitness center along with on-site resident services.

The design and construction team for Fox Pointe includes Park and Eleazer Construction and FK Architecture.
