CBRE Closes Sacramento Medical Facility Sale to Hines

CBRE has arranged the sale of Sutter Medical Plaza, a 143,210-square-foot medical outpatient building located at 1625 Stockton Blvd. in Sacramento, to a fund sponsored by Hines. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Chris Bodnar, Brannan Knott, Zack Holderman, Cole Reethof, Trent Jemmett and Jesse Greshin of CBRE U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets, in collaboration with Jason Goff from CBRE’s Sacramento Advisory and Transaction team, served as exclusive advisors to the seller.

The two-story facility was custom-built in 2009 by Boulder Associates, a leading healthcare design and architecture firm, to meet the specific requirements of the tenant, Sutter Health. Sutter Health recently renewed its lease.

“This well-designed facility caters to the growing pediatric population in Sacramento,” said Bodnar. “The investor was interested in acquiring a top-tier medical facility leased to a creditworthy tenant, with minimal management responsibilities.”

Located within Sacramento’s Medical Triangle, Sutter Medical Plaza is near Sutter Medical Center Sacramento (523 beds), Mercy General Hospital (419 beds) and UC Davis Medical Center (646 beds).
