Vantage Breaks Ground on Ohio Data Center

Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, has broken ground on a new data center campus outside Columbus, Ohio.

More than $2 billion will be invested in the project, and more than 1,500 jobs will be created across the construction and long-term operations of the campus. Located on nearly 70 acres in New Albany, the campus will provide 192MW of IT capacity across more than 1.5 million square feet.

The first of three buildings is expected to open in 2025, which will be Vantage’s seventh North American market in its expanding hyperscale portfolio. “Our investment in New Albany will further strengthen the state’s economy and its reputation as a hub for technology and innovation, and we look forward to being a collaborative partner here in central Ohio,” said Dana Adams, president, North America at Vantage Data Centers.
