High Street Residential Makes First Multifamily Start in Millbrae Since Pandemic

High Street Residential (HSR), the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, launched construction on One Meadow Glen, a new residential community in Millbrae. Representing the first multifamily start in this Bay Area city since the pandemic, the six-story project will offer 278 apartments, including 26 affordable units, and 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Construction is expected to be complete in Q2 2027.

Located at 959 El Camino Real in downtown Millbrae, One Meadow Glen sits immediately adjacent to a mix of retailers including Trader Joe’s, Safeway, Starbucks and a range of neighborhood restaurants and cafes. HSR acquired the land from Bay Properties, Inc., which plans to retain a retail interest in the property.

“With its prime location, exceptional amenities, and a mix of affordable and market-rate units, One Meadow Glen will be a cornerstone of the community, offering residents an unparalleled living experience,” said Brian Pianca, HSR principal. Construction is expected to wrap in the second quarter of 2027.
