CBRE Arranges Refi for Omaha Multifamily Property

CBRE has secured a loan for the refinancing of The Pines at Q Plaza Apartments, a 505-unit multifamily property in Omaha. Josh Larsen, with CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt and Structured Finance team in Omaha, secured the 10-year, full-term, interest-only loan through Freddie Mac. The total loan amount was not disclosed.

The company purchased the property in 1985 and will use a portion of the loan to renovate the interiors and exterior common areas of all 505 units.

“Omaha’s consistent population growth and, robust job environment and family-friendly amenities continue to fuel demand in the Omaha multifamily market,” said Larsen. “With interest rates starting to come down, this demand will only likely increase going forward into 2025.”

The Pines at Q Plaza is located at 8633 Q Plaza, minutes south of Interstate 80 and close to several city parks, restaurants and banks. Built in 1974, the property features one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans averaging 916 square feet.
