- Dallas–– Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. (MYCON) has promoted two long-standing leaders, Chip Myers and Ryan Stoll, to Senior Vice President. They will continue to ensure the successful completion and financial outcomes of projects for MYCON’s clients while mentoring the next generation.
- San Antonio—EōS Fitness has signed a long-term retail lease to open its first San Antonio gym in 2026 at The Shops at Redland Road, located at the northeast corner of Loop 1604 and Redland Road. The fast-growing gym chain will occupy 40,000 square feet of indoor space and 2,500 square feet of contiguous outdoor space to bring its highly amenitized gym to the trendy area of Stone Oak.
- Houston—Lion Real Estate Group, a Dallas-headquartered real estate investment and asset management firm focused on acquiring value-added and opportunistic multifamily properties, acquired Stone Creek at Old Farm, a 190-unit, Class B+ multifamily property located in Houston. The off-market acquisition is the firm’s first in the Houston market, was made on behalf of its Fund III investment vehicle and involves a repeat seller.
- San Antonio—Newmark announces it has arranged the sale of O’Connor Oaks, a 165-unit, value-add multifamily asset located at 13658 O’Connor Road in northeast San Antonio. Newmark Multifamily Capital Markets Senior Managing Director Jim Young and Director Chase Easley represented the seller, Austin-based JMB Group, in the transaction. Salt Lake City-based Preserve Partners was the buyer.
- Round Rock—Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) recently completed more than 310,000 square feet of industrial space for the Sunrise Commerce Center in Round Rock, Texas. Owned by IDI Logistics and spanning 37 acres, the Class A industrial development at 2380 Oakmont Road is less than a mile from Interstate 35. AP’s role included construction and tenant finishes for the three buildings. AP broke ground on the project in Spring 2023.
