$193M Construction Loan Okayed for Austin Hotel, Residences
Construction has commenced at Sixth&Blanco, a combination hotel and condo project at the intersection of West 6th Street and Blanco in Austin. Riverside and MML are helming the project, which is financed by a $193 million construction loan with Arvest Bank, with participation from Prosperity Bank and Southside Bank.
Designed by Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron and Page, Sixth&Blanco will include ten exclusive private residences, a 57-key MML-operated luxury hotel, a suite of modern amenities for both residents and hotel guests, a private members social club & bathhouse, and high-end retail, art galleries, and restaurants. The homes at Sixth&Blanco average over 4,600 square feet and start at $10 million.
Additionally, once completed, Sixth&Blanco will feature over 50,000 square feet of new retail and restaurants on the first two floors.
All residents at Sixth&Blanco will have access to the on-site MML-operated Club Membership, which includes a restaurant, lounge, screening room, wine storage and more. Residents will also be able to enjoy Sixth&Blanco’s Spa and bathhouse, hotel pool and lounge, hotel bar, hotel gym, banquet, and event space.
