A. Duie Pyle, a privately-owned transportation and logistics provider headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania, has acquired a 29-acre site within North East Commerce Center, a 100-acre business community in Cecil County, Maryland, owned and developed by Stewart Properties and St. John Properties, Inc.
The purchase price was $2.195 million. Andrew Meeder and Dan Hudak of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC represented the buyer, and Sean Doordan and Alex Lyons of St. John Properties represented the seller.
A. Duie Pyle intends to construct a new service center at the site to support the transportation logistics, supply chain services and warehousing operations the company provides to the agricultural, automotive, food and beverage, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail industries.
Situated at the intersection of North East Road and Lums Road in North East, Maryland, the business community currently contains Delmarva Power, FedEx, a Herr’s distribution facility, and other users.
