- BioMed Realty, a Blackstone portfolio company and provider of real estate solutions to the life science and technology industries, announced that John Lee has joined the company as EVP and COO, based in San Diego. In this newly created role, Lee oversees the company’s Investment and asset management functions. He most recently served as EEVP, portfolio manager at PIMCO.
- CIM Group added Michael Turner to its infrastructure team as managing director, investments. Turner brings 16 years of experience in all aspects of infrastructure investing, including a strong background in transportation and logistics. He joins as CIM Group is expanding its infrastructure investment platform, with plans to invest heavily in growing its infrastructure team to support the company’s advancement in this burgeoning sector.
- Dealpath, a real estate investment and deal management platform, appointed Pei Hung as its CFO, based in San Francisco. She will be responsible for leading Dealpath’s financial strategy and planning and overseeing operations across the company. Hung joins Dealpath from CloudTrucks, where she served as head of strategic finance.
- Matthews Real Estate Investment Services hired retail leasing professional Scott Lifschultz as first VP. Based in El Segundo, Lifschultz brings more than 30 years of retail leasing experience focusing on tenant representation. Before joining Matthews, Lifschultz founded SPL Realty Partners in Los Angeles, where he advised global brands and entertainment concepts on their real estate strategies. He was also a partner with GVA Williams, which was sold to Colliers in 2008.
- Ware Malcomb, an international design firm headquartered in Irvine, announced Nick Watkins has joined the firm as director, workplace strategy. He will lead Ware Malcomb’s strategy and change management services for clients in multiple practice areas. Watkins brings more than 18 years of experience in research leadership positions at large AE firms to his new role at Ware Malcomb.
- Green Street, a provider of commercial real estate intelligence in the U.S., Canada and Europe, has expanded its Market Analytics suite with coverage of 334 tertiary markets in the U.S. across four core sectors: apartments, industrial, office, and strip centers. The expanded coverage and advanced analytics will further empower CRE investors to make the best possible capital allocation decisions across a wider geographic area.
