CyrusOne Building $200M DFW Data Center

CyrusOne is planning to build a data center near Dallas. Slated to span nearly 2 million square feet, it will include a two-story office component. The company plans to start work on the $200 million project this month, with completion in Q1 2026. The facility, dubbed DFW7, will be located at Asphalt Drive in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, near U.S. 287, about six miles from the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake.

The KKR-owned operator currently has 80 data centers across seven countries and 30 markets. In the US, CyrusOne is in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Its Texas portfolio includes 14 data centers—both planned and operational—seven of which are located in Dallas, where it’s headquartered.
