Cisco Consolidates Bay Area Offices to Santana Row

Cisco plans to move employees from various Bay Area sites to its Santana Row office in San Jose, the Silicon Valley Business Journal reported. With the transition, Cisco will expand and upgrade the Santana Row office at 3098 Olsen Dr.

Employees formerly based in San Francisco with Cisco subsidiary Splunk will begin working from the Santana Row location in early 2025, reported the Business Journal. The San Francisco Business Times reported in 2023 that Splunk had effectively vacated the company’s San Francisco office at 250 Brannan St. It was listed for sublease in 2021.

The other site seeing change is Cisco’s North San Jose campus, made up of more than 30 buildings. Employees will begin moving out of four buildings –– 3750 Zanker Rd. along with 260, 300 and 350 East Tasman Dr. –– in mid-October.

“We are bringing our Cisco and Splunk teams in the Bay Area closer together to drive greater collaboration, improve cost efficiencies within our real estate portfolio and create an environment where our people can thrive and drive innovative solutions for our customers and growth for Cisco,” the company said in a statement
