Arlington Entertainment District to Debut Rental Community
The Texas Rangers and The Cordish Companies recently celebrated the Topping Off of One Rangers Way, completing the exterior of a 300-unit rental community for its January 2025 opening. Located near Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium, and Choctaw Stadium in Arlington’s Entertainment District, One Rangers Way is Dallas’s way of capitalizing on the current trend of professional sports teams’ propensity to offer up more than just home runs and strikeouts. They are trying to capture a lifestyle. We asked representatives from The Cordish Companies and the Rangers to give more details on the project.
Who do you see as the prime demographic for future tenants?
One Rangers Way has seen strong and steady interest from a diverse range of potential residents from across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area and the entire state of Texas, including local business owners, families, and Rangers and Cowboys fans. Other prospective renters see One Rangers Way as the perfect second home they can utilize for game nights and weekend trips.
Will the tenants be allowed to sub-let their rooms on game nights?
While apartment homes at One Rangers Way are unavailable for subletting, we offer options for residents who wish to accommodate visiting family and friends. Luxury guest suites are available within the community, providing visitors with their own comfortable space nearby. Additionally, two adjacent hotels, Live! by Loews and Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center, offer exceptional hospitality for guests.
Will the proximity to the ball parks have any effect on the amenity package?
Yes, the amenities at One Rangers Way are directly inspired by the vibrant Entertainment District, home to the World Series Champion Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Residents can access over 43,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenity space. The community will feature every possible amenity, including a resort-style outdoor pool with a swim-up bar and views of AT&T Stadium, exclusive resident bars with large TVs for the ultimate sports-viewing lounge experience, and unique indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces.
One Rangers Way will also celebrate the Rangers’ rich history by showcasing a curated collection of team artifacts and memorabilia throughout the community. These displays, combined with an extensive art collection featuring over 50 custom pieces—including artistic photographic prints, murals, sculptures, and incredible installations—will honor legendary Rangers players and the proud heritage of the Rangers and the state of Texas.
And when it comes to future plans, what can we expect?
Since the opening of Texas Live! in 2018, the Arlington Entertainment District has seen significant momentum with many additions such as Live! by Loews, Spark Coworking, and the recently opened 888-room Loews Hotel and new Arlington Convention Center, as well as many openings to look forward to including forthcoming dining, retail, and entertainment options like Lucchese Boot Co. at Choctaw Stadium, One Rangers Way residences in January, and the National Medal of Honor Museum’s debut in March.
