Brkthrough headed for the Woodlands

Slew of Immersive Attractions Slated for The Woodlands

A number of fresh immersive concepts will soon open at Metropark Square, a 70-acre mixed-use development just north of The Woodlands. Brkthrough is set to open at 8885 Metropark Drive, in a 20,000-square-foot building next to Dave & Buster’s, later this year. Also coming soon is escape room concept Escapology. Game Show Battle Rooms opened its first Houston-area location earlier this month at 8980 Metropark Drive.

Developer Sam Moon Group is building the project. It features 175,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space. Besides the immersive attractions, the center has a multiscreen AMC movie theater. Other tenants include Black Bear Diner, Top Sushi, Jax Burgers Fries & Shakes and Pho Fix.

The Woodlands area has been attracting more entertainment concepts lately, such as Activate, which has leased 12,078 square feet in the Grogan’s Mill Village Shopping Center.

And off FM 1488, the 75,000-square-foot Dudley Sports Plaza, which is expected to open late next year, will house indoor slide park Slick City Action Park and Elite Pickleball.
