San Antonio's La Villita release design plans

La Villita Converting to Food & Beverage Hub

JLL has been selected by building owner MSLA Ventures to handle retail leasing at La Villita Assembly Hall, a historic San Antonio landmark being redeveloped into a food and beverage hub. Site plans for the revitalization process include spaces for multiple restaurant concepts, event areas, an expansive outdoor bar with a patio, as well as a play area for kids, among other planned integrations.

Construction is set to begin in Q2 2025 and deliver in 2027. Ford, Powell and Carson is the architect of record for the project, while Eimer Design will provide architectural services for the interior. Kopplow Construction is the contractor

Built by famed Texas architect O’Neil Ford in 1958, La Villita Assembly Hall is located within walking distance of La Villita Historic Village, Hemisfair Park, Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center and The Alamo.

JLL’s Emily Durham, Molly Morgan and Land Folkes will handle retail leasing on behalf of the landlord.
