Lumos to debut in New Caney Entertainment district

Entertainment Venue to Open in New Caney

Lumos, a 45,000-square-foot entertainment venue for all ages, is planned for the 60-acre Valley Ranch Entertainment District in New Caney, about 30 miles north of Houston. It’s scheduled to open in Spring 2025.

Lumos combines technology, such as augmented reality and 40-foot LED screen displays, with familiar game favorites such as bowling, laser tag, axe throwing, arcade gaming and more. Additional Lumos features include a 6,000-square-foot arcade with an Omni arena for virtual reality experiences, karaoke rooms and private event spaces. Lumos will have a cocktail bar, restaurant and outdoor patio for watching sports on oversized LED screens.

Signorelli Company is developing the project where Lumos will set up shop. The Valley Ranch Entertainment District is the future home of a new 210,000-square-foot convention center spearheaded by the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID). Currently the Valley Ranch Entertainment District includes The Hill at Valley Ranch, an outdoor, multi-purpose entertainment venue, Cinemark movie theater and Randall Reed Stadium.
