Mill Creek Adding to Extensive Gilbert Development

Mill Creek Residential is looking to add to the burgeoning 152-acre Gabriela Pointe Commerce Center in Gilbert. The company is looking at a 13-acre site to build new apartments, restaurants and retail near the corner of Higley and Elona Drive.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the vision for the apartment complex is to have five main residential buildings, two carriage units and surface parking. A fitness center, a coffee shop and a leasing office would be in the westernmost apartment building on site. Total commercial space, number of apartment units and building heights are still being finalized.

In addition to Mill Creek Residential, the project team also includes Kephart as the architect; Colliers Engineering & Design as the civil engineer; and Burch & Cracchiolo as the law firm working on zoning and entitlements. Michelon Family AZ Land owns the land.
