Mission Rock Opens Fourth and Final Building in First Phase

The Mission Rock Partners development team, a collaboration of the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer, was joined Tuesday by executives from the Port of San Francisco and San Francisco Mayor London Breed to commemorate the opening of Verde, a 23-story apartment tower that welcomed its first residents this summer.

Verde is the fourth and final building to open as part of Mission Rock’s first phase of development.  Located at 1070 Bridgeview Way, the tower features 254 apartments, including 59 available at below market rates for middle-income households.

“The new residents of Verde will have the best of San Francisco at their doorstep,” said Breed. “They will live, work, and play in a new neighborhood in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The success of Mission Rock shows what we can do when we work with private partners who are committed to the future of our city. We appreciate the hard work over many years of everyone who helped make today’s celebration a reality.”
