KLNB Secures Two Leases for National Special Education Client

KLNB‘s Vice President Austin Eber and Principal Chuck Breitenother have secured two retail/flex leases for High Road Schools, a provider of special education and alternative education services for K-12 students.

The leases involve two Maryland locations: an 11,818-square-foot space at 834 Old Philadelphia Rd. in Aberdeen, which expands on the current footprint, and a 10,080-square-foot newly constructed space at 8450 Broadband Drive in Frederick. Beetle Smith of Mackenzie represented the landlord for the Aberdeen property and Danny Foit of SJP represented the landlord in Frederick.

High Road Schools operates 14 locations in Maryland, and its parent company, Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), has more than 195 private schools and in-district classrooms nationwide. The location in Frederick will open in the Fall of 2024, while the Aberdeen location will serve as a relocation site for the current High Road School of Hartford County and welcome students in the Fall of 2025.
