FW Spending $13M on Golf Course Renovations

Fort Worth is spending $13 million to renovate Meadowbrook Golf Course. Area residents hope the renovations will attract more business to their side of town.

The scope of work includes rerouting the entire course, installing new irrigation, expanding and renovating parking areas, putting green, and a short-game practice area.

Virtual Builders Exchange reports work on the site began in February, with mass excavation, ground shaping, and gravel installation already taking place.

The Larry Rodgers Design Group was the project engineer, and Colligan Golf Design was the civil engineer. The city acquired the former Meadowbrook Country Club in 1938, which is located at 1815 Jenson Road. The city hopes to have the course reopen in the summer of 2025.
