CBRE Arranges Fifteen Leases in Downtown St. Louis

CBRE has arranged 15 office leases totaling nearly 105,000 square feet at Peabody Plaza, a 400,000-square-foot, Class A office tower in St. Louis.

CBRE’s Rick Messey and Whitney Allen represented ownership, New York-based Briar Meads Capital, in the lease negotiations.

These leases are fantastic additions to Peabody Plaza and demonstrate the significant demand the tower has received in recent years,” said Allen. “A major factor in this demand has been ownership and its dedication to maintaining its existing structure while additionally implementing numerous renovations since purchasing the building. As a result, occupancy has risen from 70% in 2020 to over 85% in 2024.”

The building is located at 701 Market St. in downtown St. Louis, minutes west of the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi River. The building features a top-floor conference center with skyline views, a 7,000-square-foot fitness center, an on-site restaurant, underground parking, 24-hour security and on-site management.
